Patna, May 6 -- Congress on Tuesday slammed Nitish Kumar government for the lathicharge on teacher assistants in Bihar, saying it had exposed the fact that government had nothing to do with future of younger generations.

President of Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC) Rajesh Ram said here that teacher aspirants were proceeding towards CM residence to meet Nitish Kumar to submit a memorandum to him regarding their demands. They were mercilessly lathicharged causing injuries to some of them, he added.
