Wayanad, Sept. 24 -- The Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president Sunny Joseph has fulfilled his promise to the family of late N.M. Vijayan, former Wayanad District Congress Committee (DCC) treasurer, by settling the outstanding debt at the Urban Cooperative Bank in Sulthan Bathery.
Following the intervention of AICC leaders Rahul Gandhi, K.C. Venugopal, and Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi, the debt of approximately Rs 58 lakh was cleared today, just a week after the assurance was given.
