Nizamabad, Feb. 11 -- Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud on Wednesday expressed strong confidence that the ruling Congress party is poised for a resounding victory in the municipal elections held across Telangana today.
Reviewing polling trends across 116 municipalities and seven municipal corporations, Mahesh Kumar Goud said the Congress was likely to secure nearly 90 per cent of the municipalities and corporations.
He said urban voters had endorsed the development and welfare initiatives implemented under the leadership of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.
