Hyderabad, Dec. 31 -- : The Indian National Congress has gone all out to strengthen its organisational base in Hyderabad, unveiling a revamped 45-member structure for the Hyderabad District Congress Committee (DCC) and launching an online application portal to attract committed party workers.

Addressing the media on Wednesday, Hyderabad DCC President Syed Khalid Saifullah said that while the Congress has traditionally enjoyed strong public support in the city, organisational weaknesses at the grassroots level had held the party back.

"The focus now is entirely on rebuilding the organisation. We want a team that is committed, dynamic and rooted in Congress values," he said.
