Patna, Oct. 17 -- TheCongress party, a key constituent of the Grand Alliance (Mahagathbandhan), renominated its 11 sitting MLAs while releasing its first list of 48 candidates for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections late tonight.
The list prominently includes Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC) President Rajesh Ram, senior leader Shakeel Ahmad Khan, Bijendra Chaudhary, and two women candidates.
As per the list, the Congress has fielded 24 candidates for the first phase and 24 candidates for the second phase of polling.
The Congress has renominated 11 sitting MLAs who emerged victorious in the 2020 elections. These include Neetu Kumari (Hisua), Anand Shankar Singh (Aurangabad), Rajesh Ram (Kutumba - SC), Vishwanath Ram (Rajpur - SC)...
