Patna, Jan. 5 -- Congress on Wednesday questioned the silence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on the alleged insult of "daughters of Bihar" by a BJP leader of Uttarakhand Girdhari Lal Shahu.
President of Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC) Rajesh Ram told media persons here that both Modi and Kumar were surprisingly silent on the insult meted out to the "daughters of Bihar" by Shahu.
Such a silence has left people of Bihar highly disturbed as Modi and Kumar had always been talking of respect and empowerment of women, but their true faces now stood exposed, he said.
