Chandauli, Sept. 19 -- A senior Congress leader and retired police officer, Dangal Yadav, allegedly shot and killed his younger brother over a land and loan dispute in Chandauli.
The incident took place in Sirsi village last night, under the Sadar police station limits, around 20 km from the district headquarters.
According to police, Dangal Yadav (62), who serves as the state general secretary of the Congress' OBC cell in Uttar Pradesh and is a retired sub-inspector, fatally shot his younger brother Kamla Yadav (53), a practising lawyer, outside their home.
