Jaipur, Nov. 23 -- Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today accused the opposition Congress of creating hurdles to good initiatives, including the Anti Conversion Law, being taken by the ruling NDA dispensation under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the national interest.

Dhami, who was on a visit to the pilgrim city Pushkar to attend a function of the Uttarakhand Dharmashala (rest house), made the above accusation in response to a newsman's query about writ petitions filed in the Supreme Court against passage of the Anti-Conversion law in some states, including Rajasthan.

The visiting CM claimed, "Those who have been indulging in the appeasement politics for many decades are behind these obstructive tactics....
