New Delhi, Dec. 3 -- Congress Lok Sabha MP Manickam Tagore has given notice of his intention to move an Adjournment Motion in the House, seeking a discussion on a matter of urgent national importance concerning labour laws.
In his notice, Tagore stated, "I rise to move an Adjournment Motion to discuss an issue of urgent national importance affecting crores of India's workers, an issue on which this Government has failed spectacularly despite tall claims and loud propaganda."He highlighted that while the Government claims to have repackaged 29 labour laws into four Labour Codes, calling it a "historic reform," the rules have not even been notified, and implementation is yet to begin.
