Mumbai, April 10 -- Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president Nana Patole on Saturday mourned the demise of Raosaheb Antapurkar, an assembly member representing Deglur constituency in Nanded district of Marathwada region of the state.

Mr Patole described Antapurkar, who succumbed to Corona at a Mumbai hospital after being shifted from Nanded, as a dedicated people's representative who was always worked for the welfare of the farmers and common people.

In his press statement, Mr Patole said that Antapurkar had twice won from Deglur Assembly constituency. He had a lot of public relations in the constituency and always rushed to the aid of the workers in response to their demands.
