Jaipur, Dec. 18 -- The Congress leaders, including Leader of Opposition (LoP) in the Rajasthan Assembly Tika Ram Jully and the state unit president Govind Singh Dotasra, courted arrest after they were prevented by the police from marching to the ruling BJP headquarters here for holding a demonstration.
The grand old party had planned to hold march from the PCC office to the ruling party headquarters to stage a gherao there to oppose "misuse of the ED" against the Gandhi family (in the National Herald case) and other opposition leaders.
However, the police stopped them as the marchers reached the Shaheed Smarak. This prompted the protesters to stage a dharna and chant slogans against the BJP-led governments at the Centre and in the state....
