Pune, Jan. 13 -- Senior Congress leader and spokesperson Gopaldada Tiwari on Tuesday urged voters to elect Congress candidates to ensure planned urban development, improved primary healthcare and education facilities, and traffic-congestion-free infrastructure in Pune.

Addressing a public meeting at Ward No. 12 (Golandaj Chowk, Wadarwadi, Chhatrapati Shivajinagar), Tiwari criticised the ruling BJP, stating that despite being in power at the Centre, State and Municipal Corporation for years, the party is relying on hoardings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis instead of projecting local leadership-calling it an indirect admission of failure at the municipal level.
