Srinagar, Oct. 18 -- Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) president Tariq Karra today said that all options are open for the party regarding contesting the upcoming Budgam and Nagrota bypolls in the union Territory.

Speaking to reporters after resuming the district-wise chain hunger strike under the "Hamari Riyasat, Hamara Haq" programme, Karra confirmed that the National Conference (NC) had offered the Nagrota seat to the Congress. However, he said the final decision rests with the party's central leadership.

"We have submitted a report to the central leadership, and all options are open," Karra said.

Chief Minister and NC vice president Omar Abdullah said they had no objection to Congress contesting the Nagrota bypoll....
