However, a mix-up regarding the Hisar rural district president's name forced the party to issue a clarification within 12 hours.

The initial list named Brijlal Khowal as the Hisar rural district president, prompting supporters of local Congress leader Advocate Lal Bahadur Khowal to celebrate, assuming it referred to him.
