Itanagar, Sept. 22 -- : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday accused the Congress of neglecting Arunachal Pradesh and the entire Northeast because the region was not electorally significant while asserting that the BJP had placed it firmly at the centre of India's growth story.

Describing Arunachal Pradesh the "land of peace and patriotism," the Prime Minister unveiled development projects worth over Rs 5,100 crore during his visit to Itanagar.
