Mangaldai, Sept. 14 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched a scathing attack on the Congress, accusing it of siding with "anti-Indians" and infiltrators for vote-bank politics.
Addressing a massive public rally at Mangaldai in Darrang, where he laid the foundation stone of Mangaldai Medical College and several other projects worth over Rs 6,500 crore, the Prime Minister alleged that Congress had stood with Pakistani forces during "Operation Sindoor."Referring to the past, Modi said the country "lived under the shadow of terror" during Congress rule. "The country used to bleed due to terror and the party remained mute spectators," he said.
