Nagarkurnool (Telangana), May 19 -- Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Monday stated that his government has earned the distinction of promoting agriculture by providing solar pump sets to farmers cultivating fallow lands.

He made these remarks while addressing a public meeting at Macharam village in Nagarkurnool district, following the launch of the Rs 12,600 crore Indira Saura Giri Jal Vikasam scheme.

Expressing deep emotion, the Chief Minister said his heart was overflowing as he stood to speak in the land of Nallamala, which he referred to as his birthplace.
