Patna, Dec. 31 -- The Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC) today constituted a four-member committee to investigate the alleged rape and murder of an ANM nurse in Chapra.
Describing the incident as extremely serious and sensitive, BPCC president Rajesh Ram said here that the party is fully committed to ensuring justice for the victim and her family.
He said that the body of the ANM nurse working at Shreya Clinic and Trauma Centre in Chapra was recovered near a railway track on December 26. He said that the victim's family accused the nursing home operator and other staff members of raping and brutally murdering her and allegedly dumped the body near the railway track.
