Ranchi, July 8 -- The Congress party has extended full support to the nationwide strike called
for July 9 in protest against the Central Government's amended labour laws and what it termed as "corporate-driven, anti-worker, anti-farmer and anti-national policies."
Jharkhand Pradesh Congress media in-charge Rakesh Sinha said today that the strike represents not only a fight for workers' rights but also a broader resistance to policies that systematically sideline farmers and labourers.
He stated, "The Prime Minister often speaks of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' (together with all, development for all), but in reality, the development is solely for his corporate allies. Workers and farmers are being pushed to the margins."
