New Delhi, Sept. 28 -- Congress general secretary KC Venugopal today demanded strict action against BJP leader Printu Mahadev for allegedly issuing death threats to Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi.

The Congress leader in a post on X said that he has written to Home Minister Amit Shah bring the party's concern to his attention.

Venugopal said that disagreements in the political arena must be solved politically, within the Constitutional framework. BJP leaders, however, are giving death threats to their political opponents on live TV.

In the letter, Venugopal alleged that, "Mahadev, during a television debate in Kerala, openly declared that Rahul Gandhi will be shot in the chest". Stating that "this is neither a slip of tong...
