Jaipur, Dec. 18 -- The Opposition Congress leaders, including Leader of Opposition (LoP) Tika Ram Jully and the state president Govind Singh Dotasra, today courted arrests as the police prevented them from marching further towards the ruling BJP state headquarters here for holding demonstration.
The grand old party had planned to hold march from the PCC office to the ruling party headquarters to stage 'gherao' there to oppose "misuse of the ED" against the Gandhi family (in the National Herald case) and the other opposition leaders.
However, the police stopped them as the march reached to the Shaheed Smarak. This prompted protesters to hold dharna and chant slogans against the BJP led governments at the Centre and in the state.
