Congress blames PM for raids on Dr Parameshwara
Bengaluru, May 22 -- The Congress on Thursday launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing him of orchestrating Enforcement Directorate (ED) raids against Karnataka Home Minister Dr G Parameshwara as part of a "politics of harassment, vendetta, and intimidation".
Reacting strongly to the ED action, Congress general secretary in charge of communications Jairam Ramesh said the raids reflected the Prime Minister's 'mastery' in using central agencies to target political opponents. "The ED actions undertaken at the behest of the PM himself reflect the politics of harassment, vendetta, and intimidation of which he is the master," Ramesh said in a post on X.
