Nagpur, Dec. 13 -- Congress Legislative Party leader Vijay Wadettiwar today strongly criticized the ruling Mahayuti government, holding it responsible for the deteriorating law and order situation in the state, including the rising spread of drugs and increasing farmers' suicides.
Speaking on the last week's motion in the assembly, he launched a fierce attack on the government regarding farmers, law and order, atrocities against women and children, corruption and the growing spread of narcotics.
He said that on average eight farmers commit suicide every day in the state, and 28 districts have been severely affected by excessive rainfall.
