Mumbai, July 2 -- The Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee has begun strengthening party organisation and boosting activities across various districts in the state. As part of this effort, appointments of taluka presidents are now being made through direct interviews. So far, the state Congress president has personally conducted interviews and appointed 83 taluka presidents. This initiative, led by Congress state president Harshvardhan Sapkal, aims to give committed and hardworking grassroots workers an opportunity to take up key roles.
