Srinagar, Oct. 23 -- In a significant development Congress has announced support for National Conference's Rajya Sabha candidate saying the party has kept all differences with its alliance party on back burner to affirm its commitment.
Only the NC and BJP are contesting the RS polls for the four vacant seats. While the NC has fielded four candidates, the BJP has fielded three candidates.
Announcing the decision , J&K Congress President Tariq Karra said the decision was taken after two round deliberations, one done yesterday and another today.
He said in between they were in close contact with the central leadership and they had sought some information and had asked certain queries as well.
