New Delhi/Mumbai, May 31 -- Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) President Harshavardhan Sapkal on Saturday levelled a serious allegation against Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, claiming that "they accepted a Rs 3,000 crore bribe" in the Ghodbunder-Bhayandar Tunnel and Elevated Road Project.
The Supreme Court has delivered a major blow to the BJP-led government in Maharashtra over the Ghodbunder-Bhayandar tunnel and elevated road project. Following the court's observations, the state government has been forced to cancel the tender. Massive irregularities and corruption involving crores of rupees have surfaced in this project, he said.
