Panaji, Oct. 20 -- The Congress in Goa on Sunday alleged that Tourism Department had manipulated records related to Goa International Tourism Mart (GITM) 2019 and demanded that the event be postponed.
Addressing a press conference at party state headquarters in the city, Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) President Girish Chodankar said,'' We demand that GITM 2019 should be postponed and detailed investigations should be done about the manipulation of the records by the Tourism Department officials. We also demand that the Chief Minister should investigate the basis on which a huge estimate of Rs 4.78 crore was prepared by the Department.''
