New Delhi, Jan. 13 -- The Congress on Tuesday launched a blistering attack on the Narendra Modi government's China policy, accusing it of repeatedly compromising India's strategic interests, territorial integrity and sovereignty while maintaining what it called a "hypocritical" and opaque relationship with the Chinese Communist Party (CPC).
Addressing a press conference, Congress Media and Publicity Department chairman Pawan Khera described the BJP-led government's approach towards China as nothing short of a "meek surrender," alleging that New Delhi's foreign policy under Prime Minister Modi had emboldened Beijing despite a series of provocations and transgressions.
