Raichur, June 27 -- In a blistering critique aimed squarely at the Congress, former Prime Minister and JD(S) patriarch HD Deve Gowda today declared that the grand old party is rapidly losing ground across the country - including in Karnataka - and accused it of surviving on empty rhetoric rather than meaningful governance. "Where is Congress today?" Gowda asked at a party meeting in Raidurga. "What strength does it have left in Telangana, Himachal Pradesh, or even Karnataka?
