Lucknow, Feb. 4 -- A case has been registered after Uttar Pradesh Congress President and former minister Ajay Rai allegedly received a threat on social media.
The complaint was filed at Hussainganj police station by Congress district president Rudra Daman Singh 'Bablu', police said on Wednesday.
Police have initiated an investigation with the help of the cyber cell.
According to Inspector Shivmangal Singh, technical analysis is underway to identify the person operating the Facebook account from which the threatening post was made. Digital evidence related to the post is being secured for further legal action.
