Hyderabad, Feb. 2 -- The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) has announced a massive dharna to protest against the alleged discrimination against Telangana in the Union Budget.
The protest will take place at the Ambedkar statue on Tank Bund at 1600 hours on Sunday.
Senior Congress leader Mahesh Goud has called upon party MLAs, MLCs, contested candidates, DCCs, and affiliated organizations to actively participate.
As part of the protest, Congress leaders plan to burn effigies of the Prime Minister, Finance Minister, and Telangana's Union Ministers. The TPCC has also urged local leaders and activists to hold similar protests at Ambedkar statues across Telangana on February 3 (Monday).
