New Delhi, Sept. 21 -- The Congress today took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that his "good friend in Washington DC has stolen his thunder" by claiming for the 42nd time to have halted "Operation Sindoor".

In a post on X, Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh accused the Prime Minister of remaining silent while US President Donald Trump repeatedly claimed credit for halting "Operation Sindoor", allegedly using trade leverage to influence India's decisions.
