Nagpur, Aug. 16 -- Congress spokesperson Atul Londhe filed a complaint with the Nandanvan Police Station on Friday after receiving repeated threatening calls from a single number, a senior police official told UNI on Saturday .
According to the official, Londhe had taken a forthright stand on behalf of the Congress party during a debate on a media platform. Since then, he has been subjected to a barrage of threatening and obscene phone calls from the same number over recent days.
The caller said,"You shouldn't talk too much on television, otherwise I'll come there and kill you. I won't need time to kill you. If you don't pick my call in a ring, I won't keep you alive. If you want to stay alive from now on, have 50 lakh rupees ready."
