New Delhi, Oct. 1 -- The Congress today hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for supporting US President Donald Trump's newly unveiled 20-point plan for Gaza, accusing the PM of sidelining crucial issues and displaying "moral cowardice".

In a post on X, Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh alleged that Modi's support appears aimed at appeasing his "good friend" Trump and in solidarity with Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, while ignoring the fundamental rights and voices of the Palestinian people.
