Mumbai, Jan. 5 -- Maharashtra Congress chief Harshwardhan Sapkal on Monday demanded the dismissal of Speaker Rahul Narvekar for allegedly threatening former MP Haribhai Rathod in the office premises of the election officer of Colaba assembly constituency as the incident's video went viral last week.
"The conduct of Maharashtra Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar, involving misuse of his office, is a clear violation of the Model Code of Conduct. CCTV footage related to this incident has been destroyed. This shows that the Election Commission is not acting honestly.
