Cong razed Bengaluru's Freedom Park wall for Rahul rally: BJP
Bengaluru, Aug. 5 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party's Bengaluru Central unit on Tuesday filed a complaint against Congress leaders alleging that a centuries-old compound wall at Freedom Park was illegally demolished to make space for a protest led by senior leader Rahul Gandhi.
In a letter submitted to the Upparpet Police Station, BJP Bengaluru Central District President Saptagiri Gowda accused Congress of misusing administrative authority and damaging public property to serve its political interests. The complaint states that the wall, part of the historic Freedom Park premises, was razed without permission from any competent authority.
