Cong MLA Kulkarni surrenders before special court
Bengaluru, June 13 -- Karnataka Congress MLA and Karnataka Urban Water Supply and Drainage Board chairman Vinay Kulkarni on Friday surrendered before the special court for MPs and MLAs in connection with the 2016 murder of BJP leader Yogesh Gowda.
The development comes after the Supreme Court recently cancelled Kulkarni's bail, directing him to surrender within a week. Following the directive, Kulkarni presented himself before the court, which subsequently remanded him to the custody of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
