New Delhi, Dec. 28 -- The Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) on Sunday observed the 140 Foundation Day of the Indian National Congress(INC) at the party's Rajiv Bhawan office.
DPCC President Devender Yadav hoisted the party flag and joined Seva Dal workers in singing the national song, 'Vande Mataram'. Earlier in the day, he attended the main event at the party's national headquarters, Indira Bhawan, where Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge unfurled the flag in the presence of CPP Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi.
Several former MPs, ministers, legislators, and party functionaries were present at the Delhi event.
