Bengaluru, Oct. 16 -- The Karnataka State Policy and Planning Commission has expressed concern over district in-charge Ministers failing to conduct regular meetings of district planning committees, despite directives from Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

Speaking at a press conference today, Deputy Chairperson of the State Policy and Planning Commission BR Patil highlighted that district in-charge Ministers, appointed as chairpersons of these committees, had been instructed by the Chief Minister to hold regular meetings and prepare draft annual plans. "No such meetings have taken place, and the commission has not received any minutes from these committees," he said.
