Hyderabad, Nov. 14 -- Telangana Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar on Friday said the early trends in the Jubilee Hills by-election reflect the people's desire for development, much like the mandate delivered recently in the Secunderabad Cantonment by-poll.

Speaking to reporters, he said voters had rejected what he described as "sympathy politics and diversion tactics" by the BRS, despite attempts to invoke emotional issues and appeal to women's sentiments.
