Bengaluru, June 29 -- Karnataka BJP President Vijayendra Yediyurappa today launched a scathing attack on the Congress-led state government, accusing it of betraying the people by "stalling" crucial railway projects and allowing the state's development to stagnate.
"The Congress government has lost all moral authority to govern. Their only focus is retaining power at any cost," Vijayendra said, branding the current administration as self-serving and indifferent to public welfare.
He said despite the proactive approval and enthusiasm shown by the Narendra Modi-led Union Government to implement new railway projects in the state, the current Karnataka government has failed to provide the required cost-sharing contribution.
