Thiruvananthapuram, Nov. 12 -- Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) Working President and MLA P C Vishnunath has urged the special investigation team (SIT) to identify the person referred to as "Subhash Kapoor" in the Kerala High Court order related to the Sabarimala gold theft case.
Vishnunath said that since the High Court had observed that the Sabarimala theft bore similarities to the operations of the notorious international temple art smuggler Subhash Kapoor, it was essential to uncover who played a similar role in this case.
He said the probe had reached only a few officials so far, while the roles of the Devaswom Board President, members, and the Devaswom Minister had not been investigated.
