New Delhi, June 2 -- The Congress on Monday accused the NDA-led Bihar government for rise in crimes against women and demanded immediate accountability from the Nitish Kumar administration.

"Within just 15 days, numerous girls in Bihar have been subjected to horrific atrocities," alleged All India Mahila Congress president Alka Lamba, addressing accompanied a press conference alongside Uttarakhand Congress spokesperson Garima Mehra Dasauni.

Lamba outlined a series of cases to highlight the deteriorating law and order situation in Bihar. "In Muzaffarpur, a class 5 girl was raped and murdered.
