New Delhi, Sept. 10 -- The Congress today leveled serious allegations against the BJP-led Central government, accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah of orchestrating a "deliberate and well-thought-out conspiracy" to rig elections and undermine democratic rights.
Addressing a press conference at the AICC headquarters here, Congress leader Krishna Allavaru along with PCC chief Rajesh Ram and Shakeel Ahmad alleged that "vote theft" was being systematically carried out across the country.
Allavaru said: "First, Narendra Modi changed the process of selecting the Election Commissioner by removing the Chief Justice and including the Home Minister in the process".
"This change compromises the neutrality of the Election...
