Mirzapur (UP), April 5 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National General Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Arun Singh on Saturday attacked the opposition and said that all parties, including Congress and Samajwadi Party (SP) are not with the poor Muslims but with the land mafia.
After inaugurating the party's week-long programme on the foundation day of the BJP by performing Puja, Singh said, "After the Waqf Bill is passed in both the houses, now the government will work for the poor and backward Muslims by freeing the land from the clutches of the mafia."
He said that the opposition parties are spreading confusion in the Muslim community. "However, their plans will not be thwarted," he said.
