Mumbai, July 10 -- Former Maharashtra minister Arif Naseem Khan has expressed deep concern over the growing sense of fear and injustice being faced by minorities in Maharashtra.
Speaking at a roundtable conference organized by the National Conference for Minorities at Islam Gymkhana, Nariman Point, Khan stated, "This struggle must not be confined to just the political sphere; it must also be fought through social and legal means. People of all ideologies must unite to wage this battle, both politically and legally."
The event was convened in response to the increasing incidents of violence and discrimination against Muslims and other minority communities across the state.
