Kohima, Aug. 19 -- Sever civil societies and organisations have condemned the alleged "assassination" of 'major' Toishe Yeptho of NSCN-IM, who was shot dead allegedly by an unidentified masked gunman in his residence, in the presence of his family on August 16 at Unity colony at Purana bazaar area of Dimapur town.
In a statement issued by its Communication Cell id the Naga Hoho (NH), "strongly" condemned the act of the masked "assailants."
"All forms of killings in the form of personal rivalry or factional, is not at all expected by the people at this crucial moment when the Nagas are searching for peace and political settlement," it stated.
