Srinagar, Oct. 5 -- Congress Jammu and Kashmir president Tariq Karra today condemned the ongoing violence in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK), asserting that the region is an integral part of India.
Speaking to reporters, Karra said, "Parliament has already passed a resolution that PoK and our sympathies, the sympathies of the whole country, are with them."He expressed concern over the "undemocratic way" in which people are being treated in PoK and criticized the use of force and violence.
"The situation that has arisen there, the undemocratic way in which they are being handled, and the politics of force and violence that is going on there, Congress is against such actions everywhere. They are an integral part of J&K and our full sympathy...
