Mumbai, Aug. 23 -- In a landmark event organized jointly by the National Commission for Women and the Maharashtra State Commission for Women, Legislative Council Deputy Chairperson Dr. Neelam Gorhe emphasized the urgent need for stronger women-centric policies and inclusive growth.
The discussion, titled 'Shakti Samvaad: Interactive and Capacity-Building Meeting with State Women Commissions', focused on reviewing three decades of progress since the historic 1995 Beijing Declaration.
