Complaint filed against BJP MLC for comments on Chief Secretary
Bengaluru, July 3 -- The Karnataka Congress today lodged a formal complaint against BJP MLC N Ravikumar, accusing him of using "unparliamentary" language and making "objectionable" remarks against the state's Chief Secretary, Dr Shalini Rajneesh.
The complaint was submitted to Legislative Council Chairman Basavaraj Horatti by Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) General Secretary V Manohar. In addition to the Legislative Council, complaints have also been filed with the Vidhana Soudha police station and the State Women's Commission.
In his submission, Manohar urged the Chairman to immediately suspend Ravikumar and initiate an inquiry into the BJP legislator's conduct.
